This article describes the various possibilities of remote access to the Sunny WebBox.

Access via Integrated Modem

Dialing into the Sunny WebBox can take place using an integrated analog modem or GSM modem. For this, you have to allow modem dial-up in the Sunny WebBox settings.

To allow modem dial-up, proceed as follows:

1. In the user interface, select “WebBox > Settings > Modem”.
2. In the field “Allow modem dial-up”, select “Yes”. The Sunny WebBox can now be accessed via a dial-up connection.

You can now make further settings: in the field “IP Address”, you can enter the IP address at which the Sunny WebBox is to be accessed via a dial-up connection. In the field “Pick up after ring tone”, you can select the number of rings after which the Sunny WebBox is to establish a connection.

Confirm these entries via [Save].



Access via DynDNS

You can set up a DynDNS service. Various companies offer such a service free of charge.

Access via Sunny Portal

We can not recommend access via Sunny Portal because it requires a port forwarding in your DSL router. Port forwarding is considered unsafe.
