Sunny WebBox Bluetooth® – Changing the Password

The password of the replacement inverter must be changed because the standard password is still stored.

Effect: The inverter cannot be detected in the plant.

1. Log into the Sunny WebBox as an “Installer.”
2. Select the “Settings” button on the icon bar.
3. Select the parameter group “User Rights > Access Control” and then [Edit].
4. Enter the password of the new device in the “Set Installer Password” field (the standard password is 1111 for a replacement inverter) and confirm the password.
5. Enter the password of the new device in the “Set User Password” field (the standard password is 0000 for a replacement inverter) and confirm the password.
6. Select [Save]. All devices are now reset to the standard passwords.
7. Restart the Sunny WebBox. To do this, select “Device > System > [Edit]“. Then select “Initiate Device Restart > Run > [Save]“.
8. After the restart, repeat the above steps to import your old plant passwords into all devices.

Alternatively, the password can also be adjusted using the Sunny Explorer.
