Limitations in Sunny Beam if using Sunny Portal
Sunny Beam has been designed to display the most important performance data of your PV plant.
The tabletop device allows all plant data, such as E-today, feed-in compensation, and avoided CO2 emissions to be read using Sunny Data Control and transferred to Sunny Portal. It is not possible to archive and transfer the data of individual inverters, which is why we strongly advise against using Sunny Portal. Instead, we recommend the Sunny WebBox and Home Manager.
The E-total value cannot be archived in the Sunny Beam. Nevertheless, this is indispensable for some views using Sunny Portal. For this reason, we recommend graphically presenting the Sunny Portal’s daily energy values (E-day), the CO2 emissions avoided, and the yield (EUR) as a monthly overview. The visualization of the daily output (Pac) is possible in Sunny Portal, but the data must be read out every night.
Plant-specific diagrams, such as the standardized plant yield, the performance ratio, or the “Overview” module type cannot be displayed using Sunny Beam.
