If the batteries are weak, in many cases, it is sufficient to put the Sunny Beam in a place with more daylight.
If that does not solve the problem, or if the batteries have leaked:
Check whether the Sunny Beam can be charged via USB (PC or power supply)

The rechargeable batteries originally recommended for the Sunny Beam “Akku Cell 1800” are only limited available on the open market, since the manufacturer has stopped production.
The ENELOOP rechargeable batteries from Sanyo are fully compatible. You can purchase them via the SMA Service Line and in free trade.
The order number for SMA is BEAM-BT-BATTERY, the set includes two rechargeable batteries.
If you purchase the batteries in free trade, the batteries have to meet the following specifications:
