Kết Nối Không Dây Giữa Sunny Beam Và Inverter Chỉ Cho Phép Trong Phạm Vi Nhỏ

Sunny Beam range

With Sunny Beam, a distance of up to 30 meters can be covered within buildings and a range of up to 100 meters can be reached in the open. This range is dependent on various factors, such as the number of objects which need to be penetrated, their capacity for attenuation, and also the angle of penetration. Thermal windows, metal walls, and the ground, for example, have very high attenuation properties.

If the range of your plant is low despite the fact that the local conditions should allow for a good wireless connection, you can take the following action:

  • Make sure that the Sunny Beam is not in the dead spot of the antenna. The radio shadow starts at the tip of the antenna. Therefore, the Sunny Beam should never be placed directly above or below the inverter, even if there is a storey between them.
  • Ensure under Settings/Plant in the Sunny Beam that there really is no checkmark by “Repeater” if no repeater is being used.

The following measures may only be carried out by an electrically qualified person. Therefore, please contact an installer if you are not an electrically qualified person yourself.

  • Check to see if the ridged ring, with which the PG screw connection on the inner side of the inverter housing is tightened, has an electrical contact to the metal housing. It might be that some of the paintwork of the enclosure must be scratched off using the ring.
  • Check that the inverter is grounded and the PE protective conductor of the inverter is connected on the distribution board. You should also check the quality of the building grounding system.
