Informations for SMA Bluetooth® Repeater (Outdoor installation / outdoor use)
(jh) You have a poor Bluetooth® wireless connection, for example between two buildings, and need to install a Bluetooth® Repeater outdoors.
The SMA Bluetooth® Repeater Outdoor is used in outdoor installations to close dead zones under unfavorable installation conditions between SMA Solar Technology AG devices with Bluetooth or to improve poor wireless connections.
The protection class of the SMA Bluetooth® Repeater Outdoor is IP65.
Power supply (2 options):
a) Rail-mounted power supply: The power supply, which is contained in the housing, must be connected by the installer using a suitable output cable. Therefore, the repeater must be installed close to a power socket.
b) Power module: The power module enables the power supply via the internal power supply of the NextGen SMA inverters. The power module is suitable for installation in the following SMA inverters only: Sunny Boy: SB 3000TL-20, SB 4000TL-20, SB 5000TL-20 Sunny Tripower: STP 10000TL-10, STP 12000TL-10, STP 15000TL-10, STP 17000TL-10. The power module enables a cable length of up to 10 m.
