Unauthorized access is avoided
SMA Grid Guard is a safety concept for country-specific settings in the inverter, determining the grid behavior within a power distribution grid. These settings (Grid Guard parameters) are pre-installed in the devices and can only be configured with the SMA Grid Guard Code.
If an installer has logged in in Grid Guard mode, it is automatically reset after 10 hours by the inverters to avoid unauthorized access.
You can exit Grid Guard mode by closing the Sunny Explorer.
