Grounding set for inverters
You would like to know which grounding set to use in your inverter (whether positive or negative)
Please ask the manufacturer of your module which grounding set to use.
A negative grounding set is generally used for thin film technology (Evergreen modules) and special, monocrystalline cells.
A positive grounding set is generally used for back-contacted modules (e.g. SunPower modules).
They are only usable with transformer inverters of type Sunny Boy (SB) and Sunny Mini Central (SMC). Grounding sets are not suitable for the use of inverters of type SWR.
The grounding set should only be installed by an electrically qualified person.
