Automatic Frequency Synchronization
(ch)
Explanation:
Clocks whose accuracy depends on the stability of the power frequency show the time less accurately with permanent frequency variations.
Frequency fluctuations, that is, variances from the nominal frequency, occur for example, in off-grid systems which work with a diesel generator. The “automatic frequency synchronization” function, also known as tertiary control, of the Sunny Island enables the trouble-free use of grid-connected clocks in such off-grid systems. It is activated via the parameter “250.11 AfraEna”.
The time deviation is approximately balanced as an average.
SI3.0M_4.4M / SI6.0H_8.0H0H / SI5048 / SI5048U / SI4548-US / SI 6048-US / SI4848-JP:
In “On Grid” mode, the automatic frequency synchronization is always deactivated (increased self-consumption).
In “Off Grid” mode, the automatic frequency synchronization is activated, but can be deactivated.
For more information, see the installation manual under “Change automatic frequency synchronization”
SI2012 / SI2224 / SBU2200:
The automatic frequency synchronization cannot be set for these devices and has been deactivated at the factory.
