Following the discontinuation of inverters, they are still available in Sunny Design for a short time under the filter function “Only current inverters” (Sunny Design default setting). SMA thus meets the needs of system planners who still want to design their last devices from the discontinued series.
After a transition period, discontinued inverters will then be moved to the Sunny Design archive and will no longer be taken into consideration automatically in system design.
If a design with a discontinued inverter is then required, the check mark in the “Only current inverters” field must be removed when the system is being designed.
