Updating the Firmware
(ch) If no automatic update for the inverter is enabled in the communication product (e.g. Sunny Home Manager) or in Sunny Portal, you can update the inverter firmware and thus the battery firmware as follows.
The inverter must be connected to the utility grid during the firmware update. This will ensure a proper firmware update.
Requirements:
An update file with the desired inverter firmware must be available. The update file is, for example, available for download on the product page of the inverter at www.SMA-Solar.com.
Procedure:
1. Activate the user interface (see Operating Manual, Section “Establishing a connection to the user interface”).
2. Log into the user interface (see Operating Manual, Section “Logging In and Out of the User Interface”).
3. Select the menu System Configuration.
4. Select [Settings].
5. In the subsequent context menu, select [Updating the firmware].
6. Follow the instructions in the dialog.
