Lead batteries can be used
The Sunny Backup is designed for use with lead acid batteries. Both lead acid batteries (liquid electrolyte) and valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (gel and AGM) can be used.
Since the end of 2011, lithium batteries from a range of manufacturers have also been supported.
