Retrofitting is possible
It is possible to retrofit existing backup systems. For this purpose, the PV plant for self-consumption must be connected according to the German Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). The Meter Box for Sunny Backup and an electronic meter are needed to retrofit the system. In addition, a firmware update must also be performed on the Sunny Backup.
