Discontinuation of PV inverters and string inverters
Inverters of type PVWR and SWR have been discontinued in service after many years of support.
Exception: If you have purchased an extended warranty for your SWR inverter, and you have a service case, you can still request a replacement device in the Online Service Center in the logged-in area:

Please refer to the extended warranty and specify the design data so that we can find a suitable replacement device after consultation with you.
Otherwise, please contact your installer to discuss which device can be used in its place. In most PV systems, the Sunny Boy 1.5 / 2.5 (with improved efficiency, shade management, and standard communication interface) is the ideal replacement for a PVWR or SWR device.
