Our inverters of the Sunny Boy, Sunny Mini Central, and Sunny Tripower series must be set to so-called off-grid operation. This setting should be selected when ordering. Alternatively, the setting can be made on site by a suitably trained solar power professional.

Stand-alone grids can, due to the low short-circuit power, be operated under less rigid thresholds for the voltage and frequency grid parameters than they are in public power distribution grids. Correspondingly, the monitoring of these parameters must be set to broadened thresholds.
