Different output powers
It is not possible to operate multiple wind turbine systems on one inverter. This is because even wind turbine systems that are positioned very close together usually have different output powers due to turbulence and dynamics. In extreme cases, this would mean that only the wind turbine system with the highest voltage at a particular time would be making energy available. This is due to the characteristic curve control of Windy Boy. Every Windy Boy works with a characteristic curve matched to the turbine. In the situation described, this would be generalized over several turbines with different powers.
Experience has shown that the energy yield of several wind turbine systems operated by only one Windy Boy is less than the yield when using one inverter per wind turbine system.
