DANGER!
Danger to life as a result of high voltages in the inverter!
Death due to electric shock.
Before opening the inverter, please pay attention to the following points:
- Switch off the miniature circuit-breaker and ensure that it cannot be unintentionally or accidentally reconnected.
- If there is a multi-function relay connected, switch off the supply voltage to the multi-function relay and ensure it cannot be unintentionally or accidentally reconnected.
- Check the status of the Sunny Tripower:
– Disconnect the Electronic Solar Switch (ESS).
– Wait until all the LEDs, the display, and, if applicable, the fault indicator have
gone out.
– Now loosen all the lid screws and remove the lower lid.
Caution!
Risk of burns as a result of DC lid!
During operation, the DC lid on the left-hand side of the connection area can get hot. Therefore, do not touch the DC lid when working in the connection area.
NOTICE!
Damage to the inverter as a result of electrostatic discharge!
Ground yourself before touching a component.
- Ensure that L1, L2 and L3 to N are dead at the AC terminal. If there is any voltage present, check the installation.
- Ensure that L1, L2 and L3 to PE are dead at the AC terminal. If there is any voltage present, check the installation.
- If there is a multi-function relay present, ensure that the multi-function relay to PE is dead at all terminals. If there is any voltage present, check the installation.
Unlock all connected DC connectors using a screwdriver and remove them. For this purpose, use a screwdriver with a blade width of 3.5 mm.
There are residual voltages in the inverter. For this reason, wait 10 minutes before opening the top enclosure lid or DC lid.
After this time has elapsed, your inverter is now open and dead.
The Sunny Tripower is beeping or there is an error message on the display prohibiting disconnection of the Electronic Solar Switch (ESS):
- Wait until the Sunny Tripower stops beeping (after dark) and only then disconnect the Electronic Solar Switch and the DC plug connectors.
- Then remedy the error.
- You can then continue to disconnect.
