DANGER!
Danger to life as a result of high voltages in the inverter!
Before opening the inverter, please pay attention to the following points:
- Switch off the miniature circuit-breaker and ensure that it cannot be unintentionally or accidentally reconnected.
- If there is a multi-function relay connected, switch off the supply voltage to the multi-function relay and ensure it cannot be unintentionally or accidentally reconnected.
- Disconnect the Electronic Solar Switch (ESS).
- Now loosen all the lid screws and remove the lower lid.
NOTICE!
Damage to the inverter as a result of electrostatic discharge!
Ground yourself before touching a component.
- Using a current clamp, ensure that no current is present at any of the DC lines. If current is present, please check the installation.
- Unlock all connected DC connectors using a screwdriver. For this purpose, use a screwdriver with a blade width of 3.5 mm. Insert a screwdriver in one of the side slots and remove all connectors one after the other.
- Wait until all the LEDs, the display, and, if applicable, the fault indicator have gone out.
- Ensure that L to N is dead at the AC terminal. If there is any voltage present, check the installation.
- Ensure that L to PE is dead at the AC terminal. If there is any voltage present, check the installation.
- If there is a multi-function relay present, ensure that the multi-function relay to PE is dead at all terminals. If there is any voltage present, check the installation.
After this last step, your inverter is now open and dead.
