Is it possible to connect a Sunny Boy 240 with a powerline adapter and how does the data evaluation work?
The multigate of the Sunny Boy 240 can be connected to a powerline adapter via LAN cable. The counterpart of the powerline adapter can then, in turn, be connected to a router via LAN cable, and the adapter will send the data to the Sunny Portal. Alternatively, a LAN connection can be created from the powerline adapter to the PC on which the free SMA program Sunny Explorer is installed.
However, the powerline adapters must be multicast-capable.
