The DC loads can be operated on the battery with an additional current sensor
This is possible. However, it should be noted that Sunny Island requires an additional current sensor for the correct balancing of ampere-hours. This shunt is installed in the negative line of the battery. The measuring line must then be connected to the Sunny Island (master device).
This answer is valid for the devices SI3.0/4.4M and SI6.0/8.0H in the “Off-Grid” application and for SI 5048/SI 2224/SI 2012. With devices SI 4248 and SI 3324, no shunt needs to be used.
In an “On-Grid” application, you cannot operate DC loads
