As a standard, the communication between inverters with Webconnect function and Sunny Portal as well as the communication between Sunny Home Manager and Sunny Portal is protected against unauthorized access by current procedures such as HTTPS encryption. HTTPS – Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure – is used in online banking as well. The data transmitted to Sunny Portal is saved only on servers in Germany which can be accessed by employees from SMA Solar Technology AG only.
